A video won't load or failed to play
Quick diagnostic + the fixes that work for most people.

When a video shows "Video failed to load" or just spins forever, it's almost always one of two things: a shaky connection or an in-app browser that handles video badly. Work down this list and you'll clear it.
Try these in order
- Tap "Try again," or refresh the page. The error screen has a "Try again" button right under the message. Tap it once. If you're on a normal browser tab, pull down to reload instead. A lot of one-off failures clear on the second attempt.
- Check your connection. The video needs a steady connection, not just bars showing. Quick test: open a YouTube clip in another tab. If that won't load either, the problem is your network. Switch from cellular to Wi-Fi (or the other way) and reload.
- Get out of in-app browsers. If you opened Baby Acrobatics by tapping a link inside Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or a similar app, you're in that app's built-in browser, and those play video unreliably. Copy the link and paste it into Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android), then sign in there.
- Fully close and reopen the app. Not just switching away. Swipe Baby Acrobatics out of your recent-apps view so it closes completely, then open it again. A stale session is a common reason a video won't start.
- Switch networks if you're somewhere restrictive. Office, hotel, school, and some public Wi-Fi networks block the video service. So can a VPN. Turn the VPN off, or move to your home Wi-Fi or cellular data, and try again. This is also the usual fix when video seems blocked in your country.
- Open from the home-screen icon. If you've added Baby Acrobatics to your home screen, open it from that icon. The standalone window plays video far more reliably than any in-app browser. Haven't added it yet? It takes under a minute: install it on iOS or Android.
- Reinstall the home-screen app. Still stuck? Remove the home-screen icon, then add it again from
guide.babyacrobatics.comfor a clean start.
If a video still won't play after all that, use the contact form and tell us which lesson and what device and browser you're on. We'll track it down.
When it's something else
A video that plays silently isn't a load failure. Check your device isn't on its silent switch, and that the volume control in the player isn't muted.
If one specific video is broken while everything else plays fine, that's on our end, not your phone. Send us the lesson name through the contact form and we'll get it fixed.
And if videos are slow to start rather than failing outright, an older phone is the more common cause than your connection - see the app loads slowly on my older phone.
